Do You Need Us?

Writing always requires revision.  And the problem most non-professional writers have is that they don't do enough rewriting. From restructuring and reorganizing, to just cutting out the ore surrounding the gold, it's an ongoing process involving a great deal of knowledge and experience, along with a sharp eye for typos.

It's all about credibility.  If you want people to respect your work it has to be professional.  What if your readers can spot grammatical errors that you didn't even know were there?  Every mistake in grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and overall organization is a mark against  you.  And enough of them can mean failure--no matter how hard you worked at trying to get your ideas across.  We provide editing and proofreading services for:

Types of work we can help you with include:

Questions?

Q:  What about the spelling and grammar checking functions of my word processor?

A:  Sorry.  They just don't work that well.  Often, they fail to fix the mistakes and tell you to correct things that are already correct .

Q:  What's the difference between proofing and editing?

A:  Proofing corrects errors in spelling, grammar and punctuation, along with inconsistencies in format, capitalization, etc.  Editing does all that, and also looks at the bigger picture of style, clarity, and questionable grammatical and structural choices.

Q:  What do you charge?

A:  Our rates are very reasonable ranging from $1.50 per page to $5.00 per page depending on what's involved.  Please email us for details.
